Forum services brought to you courtesy of Cocorioko Newspaper. Participants of the forum are welcome to read, watch or take part in the debates. By using the Dynanamic Cocorioko Forum, you signify your agreement to the following terms:

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE FORUM

1. Democracy and freedom of speech - The Dynamic Cocorioko Forum is aimed at promoting democracy, freedom of speech, equality and other virtues associated with civilized societies. However, at this forum the stance is this; everything is relative, and there no absolutes or universals governing these ideals. It may be unwitty to quote freedom of speech when screaming profanities. Be wise in your judgment or you will leave the mods or admins with no alternative but exercise their discretion to edit, modify or simply delete your post.

Please be reminded that unlike arbitrators like judges of the courts of law who always exercise their duties with reference to precedents or common laws, the mods and admins are not. They will take action without any such references and there will be no uniformity in terms of their actions. Again, if errant participants really cared about their actions, they would not cross the line in the first place.

2. Relationship with others - Please try not to show disrespect to others. Restrain yourselves from calling people names. Things usually get ugly when somebody is being labeled, and retaliations can lead to an unnecessary flame war.

3. You agree that you will not use the forum to post any pornography, advertisement or other commercial message. You agree not to post any knowingly false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, harassing, obscene, sexually oriented or threatening message or material that is illegally invasive of another person's privacy. Contribution headlines, posts, and handles with caps will be deleted. No exceptions. Please keep to the official language, English, to make posting easily digestible for nonliterates of the respective vernaculars we all pride ourselve in - Rules will be enforced without discrimination.

While forum owners will attempt to delete any inappropriate posts as quickly as possible, there may sometimes however the possibility of a delay, since the submissions are generally posted in real time and typically not reviewed by forum administrators or editorial staff before they are posted to the site

4. Please note that the moderator does not review the messages before they are posted, and the views expressed therein are those of forum participants, and do not necessarily reflect those of the forum brokers, owners, managers, agents, partners, advertisers or affiliates. Forum owners assume no responsibility for the posts or the information contained therein, nor do they make any claims, promises or guarantees about the accuracy, suitability or completeness of any of the information in the posts. Use the advice and information provided at your own risk.

5.You agree not to use the forum to post any material which is slanderous, offensive, insulting, indecent, vulgar, profane, lewd, racist; or threatening and invasive of a person's privacy or otherwise violates any city, county, state, national and international law.

6.You agree not to post any message that contains information that was released to you privately and that violates a copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or is bound by a non-disclosure agreement.

7. The hosts maintain records of all forum users, sorted by originating IP, date, time and frequency of posts and have the right to make this information public, if any action of the user violates this agreement.

8. Forum administrators may delete, cancel, censor, or modify any post, in part or in whole, without prior notification or further explanation. The owners may also suspend or ban you from the forum without prior notification, for any reason at their own discretion.

9. You are fully responsible for your contributions. This means that the forum owners assume no liability for content posted on the forum or the actions or behavior of any contributor or participant. All opinions and views expressed in the forum, including those of the moderator, are solely those of their respective authors and do not reflect the opinions of the forum owners, parent, sponsors, affiliates or subsidiary associates.

10. We try our best to ensure confidentiality and protect your privacy when you make postings on the forum. Your personal information such as name, address, email address, phone, etc., are concealed from all users of the forum. Only the forum administrators have access to your personal information. However, because this is a public forum, you must also understand that you might lose some privacy by posting on the forum. Although you can stay anonymous, your facts and your view of the facts may not remain a "secret" any longer.

11. You agree to indemnify the owners of this site, their employees, associates, service partners and agents against any and all claims, costs and expenses which may arise directly or indirectly from material you publish to the site.

12. Username - - The improper use of proper names, private or public, is impersonation. Violators will be banned - No tolerance. You are free to choose what ever username that you wish but take note that those usernames that are demeaning to your own self or to others, vulgar or that contains other negative connotations are disallowed. Using handles with racial tones is also strictly prohibited on this forum.

13. Anyone who infringes these rules may find themselves barred from this and other internet forums, and could also become liable to prosecution.

14. All information posted on the forum shall be deemed to be non-confidential and the administrators shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such information. In addition, the hosts shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, display, exhibit, transmit, perform, create derivative works, and distribute the information to others without limitation, and to authorize others to do the same. Owners of the forum are free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such information for any purpose whatsoever.

15, Arbitration of arguments - In cases where discussions get heated up, do not expect the moderator to be obligated to arbitrate or pass judgments. The moderator is not acting as officer of the court of law. If you cannot take the heat, then it is advisable to get out. There is no point in getting upset especially when everyone is entitled to opinions of their own. If others disagree with you, it is better for you to bury them with sound facts and arguments rather than display how upset you are.

16. Plagiarism and piracy - Plagiarism and piracy are unethical and sometimes illegal in certain places. If you need to use ideas or opinions of others, then try to use your own words. If you cannot, and really have to import such ideas/opinions/words, then give credit to the original writer by telling others the sources of your facts, figures or opinions. Do not try to obtain the works of others work without giving sufficient credit to your sources, as your failure to do the necessary usually will bring discomfort at later stage. Forum participants are also urged to be careful with copyright materials.

17. Disagreement with others - When posting your opinion, be mindful that others may not agree with you. Expects disagreements, and be prepared to withstand arguments against you, as some participants will not rest until they have won you over. It is wrong to think that the person with the last words is the victor. What matters most is the quality and effectiveness of the way you argue. Don't be bothered if you fail to make others agree with you. No one will be forced to stop posting their opinions. However, any posts deemed to be unfit with the discussions in question may be deleted. If you feel that it is necessary for you to do so, then you may want to attack certain posts. Also, it may not wise for you to attack the poster. Do not make your disagreements become personal. If you feel that there is nothing more to say, then just indicate such. Say your final words and leave. Take note that necessary actions will be taken regarding personal attacks, and these may include banning the poster.

18. Please be civil and polite when bringing up your concerns to the owners of the forum.  If you are contacting us because your ID has been blocked or suspended for some reason, talking to the proprietors us about it in private, via e-mail or private message, can get your ID reinstated in many cases.

20. Forum owners do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the owners or any entity associated with this forum.

21. The mods / admins and criticism - The mods / admins are here to ensure the orderliness of the forum. Sometimes, the mods / admins may also engage in debates and arguments, and when they do they are doing so as fellow forumites.

They may not be the experts or authority in certain topics so feel free to disagree should you feel that their arguments are not convincing enough. However, be forewarned that any posts that solely meant to ridicule the mods or admins will be deleted straight away. You may bring up matters to admin/mods by doing it the proper and respectful manner. Do not attempt to show disrespect to the mods/admin as this may results in immediate banning. As shown before, the mods and admins do response to feedback or criticism. Such feedback or criticism is best done by discretely sending an e-mail to the administrators at thenewsletter@hotmail.com.

YOU AGREE TO USE THE SERVICES Of THE FORUMS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THAT THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. They are merely making community sacrifices to serve you, and are doing so out of their own expenses using talents no-one is paying them for. Please be cooperative with them as much as you can.

Last but not least, we are not a bunch of Mr/Ms/Miss or Mrs. Know-it-alls. We acknowledge the chicken and egg-ness of democracy, ideals of which are often times minted in the two-faced coin of relativity. We will maintain the forum the way we do irrespective of any disagreements participants of the forum may have. Thank you for reading the above.
